For the website and project enquiry process, RK TECH LTD is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. Where we build, support, or operate systems for a client, we may act as a processor for client data under the relevant project agreement and data processing terms.

We collect the information you choose to provide through the project request terminal, including name, email address, optional phone number and country code, project type, project message, audience type, project need, current situation, timeline, budget readiness, selected audience, and project-fit quiz answers where you used the quiz.

We also process newsletter consent, email marketing preferences, browser and device information, IP address and server logs, cookie consent choices, theme preference, selected audience preference, project-fit local storage, and Google Analytics data if you accept analytics.

If you become a client, we may also process contact details, contract details, billing records, project communications, credentials or access details you provide, and personal data contained in client systems or test data.

If you tick the newsletter box, we may send useful RK Tech updates and service information. We use Brevo to manage newsletter contacts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

For business contacts, UK PECR and UK GDPR may allow some B2B communications without prior consent, but we will identify ourselves, provide an opt-out, and respect objections to direct marketing.

Necessary local storage is used for the cookie preference record, theme preference, selected audience preference, and project-fit quiz state. Analytics is disabled by default and is only activated if you accept analytics in the cookie banner or preferences panel.

We use trusted service providers only where needed for the purposes above. Current categories include Vercel for website hosting, Google Firebase/Firestore for project lead storage, Brevo for newsletter contacts, Google Analytics for consent-based analytics, email and communications tools, and professional advisers where needed.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal data.

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where a restricted transfer is involved, we rely on adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent processor transfer terms where applicable.

We do not rely on your consent as the routine basis for international transfers.

• Project enquiries: up to 24 months after last contact if no contract is formed.
• Client, contract, accounting, and legal records: generally up to 6 years where needed for tax, accounting, contractual, or legal claims.
• Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe, plus suppression records as needed to respect opt-outs.
• Cookie preference: up to 6 months, then renewed.
• Analytics: maximum 14 months unless the Google Analytics property is configured for a shorter period.
• Local browser preferences: until you change them or clear browser storage.

Depending on where you are and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.

You can exercise these rights by emailing connect@rktechs.io. UK users can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. EU/EEA users may also complain to their local supervisory authority.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted website transport and restricted access to operational tools. No online service is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information unless requested through an agreed secure process.

This website is not aimed at children. We may update this notice when our processing changes or legal requirements change.
